EBP are the first UK contractor to receive approval for EB welding from G E Engines., our scope also includes TIG welding and X-ray.
EBP has become a Corporate Member of BINDT (British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing). This provides additional support and expertise for our growing NDT business at Woking.
EBP has gained approval from SAFRAN/SNECMA for EB, TIG and NDT and is currently the only UK accredited supplier for EB welding.
Our Head of NDT, Matt Penfold, has gained Level 3 accreditation for X-ray and Penetrant Inspection, making us independent of external delays and costs in process approval.
EBP has gained approval under the “Safecontractor” scheme. Many major companies, including Rolls-Royce, have made this a mandatory qualification before contractors are allowed on site.
EBP has invested £300k in a new 5-axis machining centre with integrated parts loader. The Matsuura MX-520 is due to be commissioned in Jan 2016 and takes EBP into both a new area of complexity and 24/7 operating.

EBP recently received an award from Bae Systems for over 25 years of dedicated support to the RN Torpedo programme. Receiving plaque is Colin Frost, EBP Lead build Engineer, presenting is Dave Jones, Bae Systems Head of Spearfish Procurement.
EBP have received approval from Rolls-Royce Deutschland for a wide range of services including EB & TIG welding X-ray and FPI, and precision machining.
Over recent months we have seen increasing focus on weld accreditation and testing requirements by this industry.The O & G Subsea Industry has differing standards and qualification requirements in several areas compared with our historically Aerospace based accreditations To meet these requirements we have embarked on an extensive programme of training and equipment upgrades.
