Over recent months we have seen increasing focus on weld accreditation and testing requirements by this industry.

The O & G Subsea Industry has differing standards and qualification requirements in several areas compared with our historically Aerospace based accreditations To meet these requirements we have embarked on an extensive programme of training and equipment upgrades.

Our NDT staff are now qualified to meet the requirements of; EN4179 (Aerospace) EN473/ISO9712 (Industrial) SNT-TC-1A (Oil & Gas) PCN (Personal)

Levels II & III for Radiographic, Visual & Penetrant Inspection

Hardness Testing to EN6507-1 & -3

We have in place and are in the process of sourcing external accreditation for the following; Leak & Pressure testing by; Vacuum/Helium leak Air in Water leak Gas pressure decay leak Hydraulic pressure

Equipment changes; New automatic chemical mixer and film processor New FPI system and dust storm cabinet New micro section preparation polishing equipment New Zeiss x 500 microscope and digital camera

You can be confident that whatever your industry sector we have the appropriate qualification for assessment
